Attendees of this workshop will be provided with an experience reflecting what students experience during General Assembly’s 10-week, full-time UX design immersive (UXDI) course. From what happens during day 1, through what the culture of the classroom is like and how it is achieved, through snippets of examples of lectures/workshops/projects/…, through the type of work students produce, and more, presented by San Francisco UXDI instructors and alumni. Why all this happens, what has been done to enable it to happen, and how effective it all has proven to be will also be addressed. Attendees will be encouraged to question the model and asked to contrast it with others.
